intel setup.

the phenom x4 can’t compete at all with the 3570k,the only processot that does compete with the 3570k on AMD’s side is the 8320/8350.

pay attention to where it says lower is better or higher is better.

Agree with person on top :)

Although depends on your use though, for gaming the amd setup will give an advantage as the black edition is specifically engineered for games. Why don’t you try out the new amd fx processors? they are great and better than “ye olde black edition” ;)

The 3570K is currently considered as the best cpu for gaming thus would be the best to get.

But, if you’re really getting the 3570K, then I suggest to you to change your mobo to a z77 which is specially designed to oveerclock a “K” cpu.

OR with a B75 mobo, you could just downgrade to an i5-3330 which is actually more than good enough for gaming since in reality, 75% of the workload in gaming is carried by the video card.

Thus, even if you get the fastest cpu available in the market, it would just be useless if you get a crappy video card.

Well, the B75 is a bad choice with a K processor, as it doesn’t support overclocking. Go with Z77 or with a non-K processor.

For the AMD build…that Motherboard costs TWICE as much as it does in the US, for no apparent reason.

Don’t get it for that reason alone. Look for one that costs about HALF that price. then it’s a question of whether you want to spend less than 200 dollars, or more than 300.
