Should I crossfire radeon 7950?

Question by Steve: Should I crossfire radeon 7950?
I am going to be building my first computer and here is my build:

SAPPHIRE 100352-2L Radeon HD 7950 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

ASUS P8Z77-V LK LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

SAMSUNG 830 Series MZ-7PC128B/WW 2.5″ 128GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

Microsoft Windows 8 64-bit (Full Version) – OEM

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL10D-16GBXL

Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 Quad-Core Desktop Processor

And then a 80+gold corsair 750W power supply.

Asus 1080p LED backlight 24″ monitor LCD

Antec 902 V3 black steel ATX mid tower gaming case

I am wondering if I should crossfire my graphics card? I want to be able to game at ultra settings with at least 60 fps. Maybe overclocking is a better option?

The 7950 should play games on ultra straight out of the box, but crossfire is a hit and miss option. In some games it will improve your performance loads, and in other cases you will see little to no improvement (certainly not enough to justify the price of the extra card). You may be better off just going with a single hd 7970 or gtx 680, but the 7950 should be just fine for the next few years.

Yeah for the better performance, but i recommend buying an after market cpu cooler like h60 or better so you can maximize the performance, and a 850w psu to handle the OC
