MSI GT60 running Hackintosh Mac OSX Mountain Lion with Intel HD4000 graphics Enabled

MSI GT60 running Hackintosh Mac OSX Mountain Lion with Intel HD4000 graphics Enabled. Ok Guys. I installed Mountain Lion normally from USB Flash. After installation I booted with the -v -x to get started. Then I followed the following guide to get the HD4000 to work. www.tonymacx86.com One thing though. Where it says “Graphics Enabler” should be set to “Yes” .. Actually what worked for me was to set it to “No” in the /Extra/org.chameleon.Boot.plist file. I also had to set “Graphics Mode” to “1920x1080x32″ in that same file to get a usable resolution at boot time other wise It would give me stretched unusable resolution. Please bear in mind that the built-in audio did not work nor did the Wifi. I bought a Creative Labs Audio X-Fi Go Adapter which got recognized OOB. As for the Wifi, I bought a dlink DWA-135 usb dongle and downloaded the RTL8192CU latest OSX driver (64bit) from www.realtek.com As for the Lan. I bought a TrendNet (TU2-ET100) USB dongle which worked OOB (although it’s only 100mbps and not gigabit).

Hi! I’m trying to get a laptop with this card to work. The thread you linked was for HD 4000’s efi strings for ig-platform-id. May I know which platform-id you used, and which would you recommend for my laptop with an internal display (LVDS), VGA output and HDMI output? Many thanks! :D

Hi diogoasisti. The fans have controls on the top of the keyboard which allows you to control the fan power. But Yes in general the temperature during intensive 3D games goes very high and the fans do kick in quite a lot during that time.

Are any of your video ports working? I’ve managed to get QE/CI working with the internal display, but no video ports are detected.
