ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! YOU CAN RUN BATTLEFIELD 3, CRYSIS 2, AND METRO 2033 AT THE SAME TIME ON MAX SETTINGS WITH NO PROBLEM!!!!! Why are you spending that much money on that?

IF you have like $ 3,000 go ahead

    Dream machine huh?
If you are getting 3 GTX580, you had better check the power supply, you may need more than a 1000W supply. Each 580 can take up to 244W on its own, making close to 750W just for video. Get a good name brand one, one that is on some Nvidia approved power supply list.
You will need 3 PCI-E 6 pin and 3 PCI-E 8 pin power connectors for the video cards.

first thing dont get the 3960x its a waste of money you should be spending tht money on other things like a better mobo since 4 dimm slots on lga 2011 vs 8 is inferior on benchmarks running the same exact ram except one is on an 8 dimm slot board and one is on a 4 dimm slot board and psu get at least a corsair ax1200 or a silverstone 1500w psu and i recommend an asrock extreme9 instead of an extreme4 with the money you saved getting a 3930k

2 580’s in SLI are more than sufficient. 3 is sorta useless.

If you want to save money, I would suggest that you build your own rig. Also if you will be including such high end components, it only makes sense that your motherboard be good at well. Add $ 100 and get the ASUS Rampage IV Extreme instead.

Great choice for CPU. Playing BF3 will be a breeze on ULTRA settings.
