Yes the reader and writer will work for burning games and music, same for the bluray. Choose between them for price as they all should meet your needs just fine. I dont see anything in that build that you are missing so it should work just fine, although it does seem slightly over kill particularly the 1250w power supply

That build would work perfectly for gaming for a long time, only concern you might have is your pc draining too much juice from your house and flipping a breaker lol, sorta joking. Also a good mouse and keyboard are a necessity for a gaming pc, logitech, razer, steelseries all make fine products for that. It should last you quite a few years, depending on how well you maintain it and use it.

I dont know that tower, and cant find it, so I dont know for sure, but that sounds like it already is a “BIG tower” based on the fan sizes it mentions

    1. I do not understand the need for a 1250 watt power supply when 700 watts would be plenty
    2. There isn’t much sense going for the i7 3820 processor and the X79 platform since it runs more expensive and offers no gain over, say, a Z77 board + Core i5 3570K processor which would probably run you $ 150-175 less. Only reason for getting an X79 setup is if you want a 6 core processor

    3. You certainly do not need 16 or 32 GB of RAM. That’s ridiculous. I have a Core i7 2600K, 570 GTX video card, and 8 GB of 1600 mhz RAM, and it is more than enough
