Desktop Help!!! (graphics card help)?

Question by A gaming Pc N00B: Desktop Help!!! (graphics card help)?
i recently got a new computer, link: ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883227442 ) as you can see the computer does not have a dedicated gpu (graphics card) so i went ahead and stopped by best buy to purchase one (i only had 70 bucks on me so i had to get a cheap one) i ended up getting this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130789 but the super clocked edition …now for the real problem i have intel hd 2500 on my system btw, i installed everything and did everything booted up installed the hardware successfully to windows (according to the computer) so i went ahead and did as the computer asked me,i restarted the computer the asrock logo popped up and the windows 8 logo appeared after that but after the logo disappeared i got a black screen i waited about 3-5 minutes but nothing happened then i rebooted aaaaaand still the black screen but this time it was blinking from a light black to a pitch black,i reffered to the manual and it told me to disable the intel hd 2500 igpu from the bios so i went into the UEFI bios (i think thats the name) and set my primary video to pci-e and i still get that black screen…..help?!?!

Well, if you are plugged into the GPU, and have the proper drivers installed properly, then you probably have a fried card.
