I’ve always followed your advices and everything has always been ok. I need an information: I’m planning to get this mobo together with 4 HDDs (to create a RAID0 config) for data and 2 SSDs (128 GB + 256GB) for the Operating System and Programs. Can I plug the DVD burner to the Marvell Sata3 Port? The instructions manual says it’s better NOT to do that (pg 2-28). Thanks SO much

I was worried there when you showed 3 Sata cables. I was like noo, I’ll need to buy another for my 4th drive. But then you find it in the box lol.

First the White SATA inputs are the SATA III 6G (two from Intel and the other two from a 3rd party.) The black SATA inputs are the SATA II 3G. The included cables are 4 SATA III 6G cables and 2 SATA II 3G.

    –I have this board

What are the benefits of having 2 rj45’s on one board. Can any one help me with this. Does it improve performance. Does it make my internet connection twice as fast any one?

I really think the whole LGA2011 thing is just a way to screw us over. There is really no need for a new socket every year. If you max out your current i7 980 CPU and max out all the stuff on the motherboard you’re good for the next 6 years.
